Video Out

Does everyone here use a video out graphics card for their mame machine? I currently have a pc with a Nvidia 6800GT which is more than enough for emulation, however it only has DVI out. I've seen $100 converter boxes and I've seen $5 DVI to component converters. Not sure if any of these actually work, but the tv I'm using handles component video so I'd rather use that than S-video if at all possible. Anybody have any experience with this?

I bought the cheapest ATI s-video out card I could find and it works great. I don't suggest NVidia for TV out as my experience has been quality is not as good.
