Sound stops when screen is off?

Hello hello. I just got a Pre 2 with webOS 2.0.1 on it, and I've noticed that when I run white noise, as soon as I turn the screen off the sound stops. Not a great thing given I use it to go to sleep at night. Is this a webOS 2.0 bug or is it a limitation of the OS altogether?

Hey Ashley, it was a limitation of PDK apps which White Noise was based on, but we have not investigated webOS 2.0. We added a screen dim feature into our app to compensate for not being able to screen lock. Cheers
