Problem With White Noise 1 and Problem with Lack of Upgrade

First off, I like the concept of the app.
But let me just say that, it does not work properly.
I wrote a barely average review of this app on the marketplace for the following reasons.

1. On Windows Mobile 6.5 on a Touch Pro 2 when the display turns off so does the sound. So I can't even use the app for more than 1 minute.

2. It's pretty weak compared to the iphone version in terms of interface.

3. As mentioned on the review, I could litterally loop more sounds together from freesoundproject.com and loop them in media player, so the value is just not there.

4. The new version that was just launched and no ability to update the existing version? I mean come on we just bought it within a month and we have to pay again?

5. See issue one. I just want the version I paid for to work.

We will investigate the screen locking issue. This is the first we have heard of this issue. Please know that this is our first release for Windows mobile and it's a new platform for our product. The iPhone version has had numerous updates over the past year as it is our most popular version.

The media player does not allow for true looping, you'll notice it has a gap of silence when it repeats which is typical of most media players. The White Noise 2 product probably was given a bad name as it is not an upgrade but a whole new set of sounds. Think of it as two different albums. I hope that helps answer some of your questions and we will look into screen locking issue.

Let me know about the sleep/screen blank problem.
Obviously you don't want the backlight to stay on while the app is running but you will have to code the program to run in the background even when the backlight is off or the device is sleeping.

As far as the update, I am still a little miffed about it.
I understand its a "new" version.
But I would have not paid for the old one if I knew you guys had the new one coming out within 3 weeks of the old.

We will be posting an update that allows white noise to run in the background. We are going to try and squeeze in a couple more features as well. Both products White Noise and White Noise 2 will be updated.
