I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch that only runs IOS 4.2.1. Where and how can I get White Noise Lite to run on this iPod touch? Where can I get version 5.0.1?

Same here, now the paid app I was using no longer works and I cannot obtain an older version. Please don't sweep us under the rug because we are such a minority.

Same here. Paid for app, loved it, now I'm told upon sync that it requires newer version of software even though my software is up to date (updated today.). I have 4.2.1. I assume its a bug in code since I CANNOT have newer software.

I just purchased the app for $1.99 in the Apple Store and it won't load because I have version 4.2.1 of IOS on the 2nd Generation so now I'm stuck with a non-working app. Do you have an older version that I can use on the 2nd generation since I can't upgrade the firmware? I had downloaded the lite version on my android phone and loved the app, but want it for my ipod touch that I just keep on my night stand - rather than my android so I never thought to test the lite version on the touch. Argghhh!!! Please help - I'll take an older version - doesn't matter to me. Thanks.

Apple has dropped support for iPhone1, iPhone3G, iPod1, iPod2 which means we have to drop support for it. It is impossible for us to install an older version of White Noise on your device or even build a version with the latest developer tools that could run on your device (armv6 support dropped from Xcode). I know this isn't the answer you want to hear but there is really nothing we can do.
Here is some specs for all the devices and what they support:
