Screen Lock not working when iPhone on charge

Hi there

I've been messing around with the various White Noise settings to see if I can fix this, but I'm completely stumped. Basically, I have white noise on all night on my iPhone 4 which means I usually put it on charge at some stage. But the screen lock doesn't work on charge with White Noise running in the background, regardless of whether I switch to home screen (with background audio going) or whether I leave it on the White Noise screen. The screen goes dim, but never switches off completely. Does anyone have a fix, or is this an iPhone problem, not an app problem?

As far as White Noise goes, if the app is running, verify that the Screen Lock option is set to ON on the settings screen for White Noise. White Noise does not control rather the screen locks or not once it is in the background, so the problem is likely somewhere else. What are you using to charge the iPhone?
