Controls slider non-responsive

I recently bought the White Noise app for an iPhone 3G (OS 2.2) and cannot get the sliders to work with any consistency whatsoever. All other apps work fine, so I don't think I have a hardware issue. I can click on any of the sounds and it selects them 100% of the time. I just can't move the volume 90% of the time and the timer about 75% of the time. Any suggestions?

We have seen this issue at times especially for our applications that process a lot of audio. We think it is because of the amount of event messages that get produced by the slider control. A lot of times rebooting the phone will help to free up memory, or just continued use of the application will help. Also clicking on the slider control knob and pausing for a brief second usually grips the sliders and then movement becomes much easier. We will continue to look into this issue.
